The Ministry of Finance issues Circular No. 133/2012/TT-BTC dated 13 August 2012 guiding the collection and management of licencing fee for setting up resident representative offices of foreign traders in Vietnam. This Circular takes effect as from 01 October 2012 and repalce Circular No. 73/1999/TT-BTC dated 14 June 1999 of the Ministry of Finance guiding the collection of licencing fee for setting up resident representative offices of foreign economic oganizations in Vietnam.
Applicable subjects: foreign traders when licenced to set up their representative offices in Vietnam shall have to pay fee as stipulated in this Circular.
Fee level: the licencing fee for setting up representative office in Vietnam of foreign traders as follows:
– Newly licenced: 3,000,000 VND per licence;
– Ammendment and modifcation of the licence, extension of operation duration: 1,500,000 VND per licence.
Licencing fee for setting up representative office of foreign trader shall be collected in Vietnamses currency (VND).
